Damp wood burns poorly and smokes heavily – as anyone who regularly uses a fireplace, wood-burning stove or outdoor fire pit will know. But with the Casa firewood rack from tectake, that’s no longer a problem. It ensures optimal storage conditions, all year round and whatever the weather. It boasts a large capacity and is suitable for all standard log sizes. Particularly handy: with the gloves provided, you can get straight to stacking the wood.
Well-thought-out design
The robust, waterproof sloping roof is made from UV-resistant polycarbonate panels and channels rainwater away directly. Two large, hard-wearing protective covers with a PVC coating for the front and back also keep out rain and snow, whilst still offering convenient access to the wood thanks to their zips. The sturdy metal eyelets and elastic fastening loops keep the tarpaulins securely in place, even in strong winds. Optimal air circulation is ensured by the open short sides as well as the raised internal frame: cross and longitudinal struts on the floor lift the wood a few centimetres above the ground, so that rising damp cannot reach it in the first place.
Robust construction
The rack is made from exceptionally solid, powder-coated steel. Reinforced corners and the cross-braces beneath the roof further contribute to its first-class stability. The weather-resistant materials easily withstand rain, snow, sunlight and wind, whilst floor-protecting foot caps also safeguard patios, paving or delicate wooden floors from dents and scratches. The Casa firewood rack from tectake can be placed freestanding or directly against a house wall, so you can decide flexibly where it fits best.
